All Children ages 3 and older must be fully potty trained. For children under 3, we require that they be at least 80% potty trained.
What Does Fully Potty Trained Look Like?
Children should show independence by asking to use the bathroom, removing any clothing for toileting, and wiping themselves. Teachers are present for assistance throughout the process. We understand that children have occasional accidents and these situations will be handled with respect. If a child has several accidents on a consistent basis, then you may be asked to re-enroll once your child is fully potty trained.
What Does 80% Potty Trained Mean?
Your child should be able to sit on the toilet without resistance and have a basic understanding of using the bathroom. We recognize that children who are still learning may have accidents, and we ask that families are comfortable with doing laundry as needed.
Can my child wear a pull up?
We require all children to wear underwear-diapers and pull-ups are not permitted at anytime, including rest periods.
